In THE CASTLE/PILIS, Monika, a young Lithuanian immigrant in Dublin with a remarkable talent for singing, struggles with a mother who has lost her enthusiasm for music (the only thing that unites them) and a grandmother suffering from dementia. But when a once-in-a-lifetime concert opportunity is cut short by her mother, Monika will stop at nothing to pursue her dream.
